OpenMediaVault project page on sourceforge.net

So far the OpenMediaVault.org website is still a default joomla installation page. I’m sure the OpenMediaVault site will be filled with more useful content, when Volker Theile has made it clear for himself what OpenMediaVault is going to be, the roadmap, features for the initial alpha/beta release, etc

In the meantime, have a look at the OpenMediaVault SourceForge page, which was created on 03 December 2009.

    What about merging effort with Amahi? Amahi looks great, but really lacks the easy RAID management that Freenas has.

  2. What is the difference between OpenMediaVault (A NAS based on Debian) and CoreNAS (Which also calls itself a “NAS based on Debian” (See http://sourceforge.net/projects/corenas/ ).

    CoreNAS is an intermediate project to port over FreeNAS to Debian. It will then become OpenMediaVault.
